Parts and assembly

The kit is made of composite molded material combining light weight and robustness for your hexapod robot.
The parts, white per defaut, can be painted easily.
Assembly is carried out by a combination of metric 2mm screws and nuts.
Motorisation
The kit is developed for TowerPro SG90 servo-motors :Torq at 5V -> about 1.2 kg/cm.
Currant consumption -> 1A max.
Weight -> 9g.
Electronics integration
Standard or home-made electronics can easily be integrated into the body of the robot thanks to a system of slots.Access to the electronic boards is simplified, you only need to remove the four nuts to unmount the frame cover. See the assembly notes
The head can handle a commercial (SHARP GPxxxx telemeter) or a home-made detection system.
The tail is designed to integrate a power-on switch.
Power supply
The body is sized for the use of a 35x60*15mm LiPo battery (maximum available size if a Micro-BaseMainBoard is used).Our test were made with a 31x55x14mm, 7.4V 900mAh LiPo battery.
